With less than eight minutes left in the title game, a champion hasn’t emerged yet. Butler is playing a great defensive game, but they cannot get the wide-open buckets. The result is a four-point Duke lead.
With the game as even as it is, the little things will win the game. Duke has taken advantage of Butler’s foul trouble by using their size. Butler has had good looks, but they cannot connect.
The one thing keeping Butler in the game is the rebounding. The smaller Bulldogs are all over the ball, and Duke is having trouble getting second chances.
