Battle of Mannings should be fun to watch

The big game for week two is The Manning showdown in Indianapolis. It is Peyton Manning against Eli Manning; it is the Indianapolis Colts against the New York Giants.

The reason the game is big isn’t because of the brothers, however. The Giants’ defense and the Colts’ defense are the storylines here.

Last week, the Giants played well on defense. They only gave up 237 total yards, and they forced five turnovers. The Colts were the opposite, allowing 257 yards just on the ground.

This is the true test for the Giants defense, with Peyton throwing for 433 yards with three touchdowns against Houston. This is a must needed game for the Colts, with a 0-2 start being unfamiliar territory.

Prediction: Colts 34, Giants 24

The Giants defense played well last week, but they didn’t play Peyton. The big story for Eli was three interceptions. Peyton will make the Giants pay after turnovers.
