Kentucky keeps the 3-point show going today; They crush East Tennessee State and set 3-point record

Kentucky cruises in their first game by crushing East Tennessee State. They shot 50 percent and set the 3-point record by a team in the first round with 15 bombs. The record had been broken by Butler earlier and tied by Ohio later.

John Wall had a double-double with 17 points and 11 assists, and Eric Bledsoe finished with 19. The game was never in doubt from the start. Kentucky was a scoring machine, and East Tennessee State couldn’t keep up.

The athletes on Kentucky are NBA caliber, and they made the win look too easy. It was a nice first round showing for one of the favorites to win it all. Patrick Patterson was another monster in the game. He controlled the paint with Bledsoe, and East Tennessee State had no chance.

Kentucky wins 100-71 in an easy win.
