Ohio crushes Georgetown and ties Butler's 3-point record set earlier

Ohio scores the third upset of the day, as the No. 14 seed knocked off Georgetown, the No. 3 seed. They did so by shooting the ball extremely well and also tying the 3-point record in the first round set a little earlier by Butler with 13.

Georgetown couldn’t defend the outside shots of Ohio, and the game was sped to a level they didn’t want. The Hoyas only shot 13 for 19 from the free throw-line, and they had eight 3-points out of 22 attempts.

The upset is a big one and the Big East has struggled in the tournament so far. Ohio is moving on to the second round with a hot hand. If they can shoot like they did against Georgetown, they can cause some heads to turn and make a deep run.

Ohio boggles many minds with a 97-83 crushing win over Georgetown. The Hoyas only gave up 67 points a game coming in.
