Wofford's Terry Martin just demonstrated the worst use of a telescoping pole and broom. After a ball was stuck above the backboard, he attempted to poke it down with a broom.
When he came up short, he tried to extend the pole - promptly pulling the pole into two pieces. At that time, a different broom was given to him and he finally got the ball down.
