Bruce Pearl’s Tennessee Volunteers are outshooting San Diego State in the first half. They lead 34-26 at halftime.
The Vol’s are shooting 44 percent (4-of-9) from behind the arc. Melvin Goins has two of those 3s and has nine points at halftime. He hasn’t missed a shot from the floor.
J.P. Prince has a team-high 11 points at the break to go along with three rebounds.
D.J. Gay and Kawhi Leonard have eight points each to lead San Diego State. Leonard has five boards.
Whichever team comes out with more intensity should have the upper hand in the second half.
